Living with or supporting someone through kidney disease can be incredibly tough, physically and emotionally. It’s okay to struggle. It’s okay to talk. And there is always help available.
📞 The Samaritans are here 24/7, 365 days a year. Whatever you're facing, they're just a call away.
📲 Call 116 123 – free and confidential.
At Kidney Wales, we stand with Samaritans in encouraging open conversations and providing emotional support to our community.
Thank You for an Incredible Start to 2025 💙
As we wrap up the first half of the year, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who’s stood with Kidney Wales from January to June.
To our dedicated volunteers, passionate fundraisers, tireless staff, generous donors, and every single supporter — your time, energy, and kindness mean the world to us.
An incredible show of strength, love, and community 💚
A huge thank you to Wendy Jenkins and all the staff at CARA Wales — over £4,500 raised so far (with donations still coming in!) for Kidney Wales!
On 4th July, Wendy and her colleagues completed a 26-mile Coastal Path Trek from Fishguard to Cardigan, marking:
🚶♀️ 20 years since CARA was founded in 2005
🧡 7 months since Wendy donated a kidney to her son 💪 And one powerful reason for choosing Kidney Wales as their charity
Your journey inspires us — and your support means the world to kidney patients and their families across Wales.

Even with #PresumedConsent in Wales, your family will still be asked to confirm your decision to be an organ donor.
Make sure you tell them about your wishes.
