Mike Cahill explains Pyth’s core edge.
By getting trading firms and exchanges to publish their own data, Pyth can access any market those institutions are active in and produce a real-time price free of upstream licensing restrictions.
Everyone else is still buying the “oil” from the traditional gatekeepers. Pyth built a synthetic version that powers the same applications without going through the old channel.
That’s a structural shift in how market data gets distributed.
