Fire Hortiz. Fire McDaniel. Fire Harbaugh. Trade Mack. Trade Derwin. Trade Hampton. This season is over. I told you 3 years ago.

I hope you know I’ve never lied to you. Joe Hortiz made fun of this fanbase after finally drafting a “guard.” This organization plays politics, which is why they’ve never succeeded. Ownership cared more about me trashing In-N-Out than about losing games. That’s the truth.

People who blame Justin Herbert for a catastrophic team failure need to watch that opening drive of the 3rd Q.
Never seen a team so bad at doing everything before. My goodness.
So we have Cam Hart, Donte Jackson, and Targeeb still yet this mf Rodney Shelly is playing and fuckin why

I not only agree with this completely, but I have said the same thing a few times on here.
His greatest strength as a person may also be one of the few things I’d criticize about him as a franchise QB. He’s almost too accommodating. He doesn’t seem wired to make demands of the organization or force the issue when he needs more around him. He carries himself with humility, absorbs criticism, and rarely makes anything about himself.
Ironically, that is also a huge part of why people love Herbert. His teammates and coaches aren’t dealing with an ego, and fans aren’t constantly hearing him campaign for himself. But there is a difference between being a great teammate and being so agreeable that you never make the organization uncomfortable.
At some point, I’d actually like to see Herbert put his foot down and say, in his own way, we need more.
