I love stories where the monsters are more compassionate than humans. I love when they redeem themselves or even when they do not and they go on glorious justified rampages. if you grew up feeling less human than everyone else, you love stories where monsters can be good.

Such a cruel world. "Why don't we get straight pride" because straight people don't get murdered for being fucking straight.

Anri started playing soccer when she was 10 years old and has been involved in sports ever since then- yet the manga depicts her as someone who can only cook and clean, and whenever Ego talks about soccer, Anri is always confused and needs things explained to her. Ok.

I never thought this would happen so I don't really know what to do. I should be really happy but I'm mostly terrified for reasons I can't articulate right now.

I have a pretty thick skin and all, especially when it comes to beta readers, but uh. one just left this comment on my manuscript: "this story is a waste of my time." and i'm like... hm. ok. cool. helpful, thanks.
