A Little Girl Watches Her Mother Burn Alive in Gaza During a So-Called Ceasefire
At dawn today, Israeli warplanes struck an apartment belonging to the Awad family in Gaza City. A massive fire broke out, leaving several family members dead or injured.
As people searched for those still missing, they heard a little girl screaming. When they reached her, they found her sitting on her bed, watching helplessly as her mother burned alive in front of her.
I cannot begin to imagine what that little girl went through. I cannot put myself in her place, not even for a second. What happens to a child’s mind when she watches her mother burn to death before her eyes? How does she ever recover from something like that? And what could this cruel, complicit world possibly do to make up for even a moment of such horror?
The little girl was pulled from the fire alive. But I cannot bring myself to call that survival.
Something inside her must have died in that room, something she may never get back. She will grow up carrying the memory of that night, of sitting on her bed, screaming for her mother as the flames consumed her. That may be the last image she ever has of the woman who brought her into this world.
My God. How is a child supposed to live with that?

⚠️ AnsarAllah is rejecting the mediation offers of the reformist government in Iran.
And as an Iranian, I do applaud them for their intellect and vigilance. Iran is not a monolith. The only fraction in Iran that can be trusted is the office of Supreme Leader and the IRGC.
Reformists messed up the US/Iran war with their ill-timed, badly negotiated MoU and now they're trying deal the same damage to AnsarAllah which is liberating new cities/regions at an unbelievable pace and basically has the upper hand.
We all know that the Iranian Supreme Leader was against the ceasefire and both of his representatives, i.e. Saeed Jalili and SG Gen. Mohsen Rezaei, in Supreme National Security Council held the same belief.... so in a way, AnsarAllah's objectives are aligned with that of revolutionary camps in Iran.

I strongly condemn the repeated terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the targeting of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, which resulted in loss of lives and injuries to civilians.
I commend the vigilance and professionalism of the Saudi armed forces and the Coalition in intercepting multiple ballistic missiles and their tireless efforts to protect innocent lives and safeguard the Kingdom.

Imam Ali ruled an empire and wore patched clothes. He could have had every comfort, but said he wouldn't be content with the title "Commander of the Faithful" while he didn't share the hardships of his people.
He scolded a governor for attending a feast where no poor person had been invited, even though nothing forbidden happened there.
We say we love Ali. But we spend more on our image than on our neighbour's need. We want to look strong and admired, and he carried water for a stranger and cooked for orphans.
Love for Ali isn't how loudly we say his name. It's how little we need to be seen.
