Check it out! It's Kirill Kuzmin performing at @HouGrandOpera's CONCERT OF ARIAS with the winner of the competition, @KeyWMurrah!
It was moving to see these young artists take the stage after a year of limited live performances. We are thrilled that we were able to carry on this tradition safely w/ the help of @MethodistHosp. Don't forget you can still enjoy Concert of Arias on @MarqueeArtsTV until 3/4!

It’s been a minute y’all, but I wanted to put this fun snippet out there: Movement 3 of the Florence Price Sonata in E minor.
6/8 time, adventurous harmony, octaves... what’s not to love???

Spending time with #FlorencePrice today. 2nd movement of the Piano Sonata in E Minor.
I needed this beauty today.
Ombra mai fu from Handel's Serse
I was inspired by a legendary artist who sang this at the recent Met Gala. Hint, hint...

Here is the beautiful second theme area of Florence Price's piano sonata. The melodies are light, but the harmony is inviting, even intriguing at times. I love how developmental she is here in the form. It's just a taste of how adventurous she is later in the movement!

There are so many amazing voices that will never be heard because of the way the opera industry is constructed and run and it is truly heartbreaking.
