A video that explains how market makers delta hedging Vanna/Charm exposures can affect price movements; made in collaboration with @jam_croissant
Hopefully the financially semi-literate (Like myself) will find this useful~

guy who complains about not living in a high trust society but demands to be able to do white collar crimes with impunity
Part of me wonders if the backlash is more of a generalised thing against hype/grift in the AI/tech-bro space (Like claims saying that all diseases will be cured in 5 years), rather than justified against this article in particular
People getting mad that every single experiment for an FDA-approved drug wasn't completed...
Like yeah, even the article makes it clear that this is only part of the progress
People just finding any excuse to get mad
Its clear in the article that they aren't claiming that AI has solved every health problem or is able to achieve things that others can't do
The point is that you can accelerate the progress with compute, whereas before labour with labour, time was always a constraint
A lot of people either just getting angry because they can't seem to read details or read at all
The fact that you can bring a group of neophytes up to speed with molecular simulation tools is amazing alone, imagining what this may do for specialists is the real takeaway
What is AI really capable of in bio?
To separate hype from reality, we spent 3 months working firsthand with @AnthropicAI's internal research model to see if it could create an experimental scorpion antivenom.

Societies crumble when enough retards continuously believe the peak of the Laffer curve for their society's capital class is far off to the left
Maturity for men is realising boob lift is more important than size and ass shape is more important than size
Why do I keep seeing that clip from Bury my heart at wounded knee (Film) floating around on social media, with people in the comments section viewing it as justified? Do people just like not read the book or not watch the film in its entirety? 🥴
Short $UPS on open amirite
China managed to get a hold of parts from an F-35 stealth fighter jet after a UPS employee missed an email warning not to route the shipment through Hong Kong.

Why invest more in medical research when our national debt is so high? Fair question.
My answer: basic medical research is a public good that private capital rarely funds. It saves lives and lowers the cost of disease.
Done right, @NIH funding can more than pay for itself.

Baby KJ was born with a rare, often fatal disorder. Today he’s walking and talking thanks to NIH-funded research at CHOP and Penn.
@NIH gets less than 1% of federal spending. My proposal: double its budget while cutting bureaucracy and prioritizing merit.

Baby KJ was born with a rare, often fatal genetic disorder. Today, he's doing great after @NIH-funded researchers saved him with the world's first personalized gene-editing therapy.
We can't surrender our lead on this science to China. Keeping our edge takes NIH funding and reform.

When you rig a game of monopoly to give players 2x starting cash and 2x each time they pass Go, instead of attributing their success to circumstances, they attribute it to their personal skill and good decision making
