Skull Session: Youngest Buckeye Team in 20 Years, Nicholas Petit-Frere Doesn't Give Up Sacks, and...

This is the youngest Buckeye roster in two decades, nobody gets past Nicholas Petit-Frere, Demario McCall always balls out against Rutgers, and more.

Ohio State’s passing defense is No. 2 in efficiency, No. 1 in yards per attempt, No. 1 in pass breakups, No. 2 in touchdowns allowed despite never really being able to generate a pass rush with four players and ranking 108th in sacks per game. Secondary is high up on the list of things I’d be least worried about. Do need to have Jay Timmons out there so that Jermaine Mathews can stay outside, though.

Best passing defenses through week 7 (def. EPA/dropback vs. def pass success rate) UCLA an LSU clear and away the best so far. Once again our dear Yellow Jackets refuse to be normal. gameonpaper.com/charts/build…

Miami might be the worst team against the Hail Mary of all time.

This hold was so blatant this is what I thought Marsh was reacting to a flag that negated the touchdown, not stepping out of bounds.

Awful Announcing

"TOUCHDOWN!... NO!" Gus Johnson on the Fox call as Indiana's Nick Marsh was out of bounds, cementing an Ohio State win. 🏈🎙️

Also, there was a blatant hold on Pettijohn on that last play that went uncalled, so I only feel so bad.

Hey that was a disastrous drive but at least they burned almost no time off the clock and didn’t force Indiana to take a single timeout!

Patricia’s gotta bring pressure on this drive. Learn from the Texas loss.

Dumb as it sounds you have to let Fahey throw it.

Would love Ohio State to be aggressive on offense after this but I don’t think that’s gonna happen.

Sometimes the correct play is just throwing it up to 4 lol

I do not say this lightly but this is approaching “should they bench him?” territory for Sayin. There’s clearly something wrong.

These aren’t even close! And the protection is fine!

… why did they have to take it to fourth down before doing that in the red zone? My god

If Julian Sayin was shaving points this game wouldn’t look any different.
