Went on a side quest tonight. Took second in an 80s costume and dance competition that I got invited to last second and won 50 bucks lol

Five years ago I went to my very first salsa night, a decision that has truly changed my life. It’s taken me to places I never thought I’d go to, and introduced me to so many incredible people. I cannot imagine my life now without dance. Five years down and a lifetime to go!
Words cannot capture how incredible last night was. Seeing my favorite artist and not only did I get to meet her, she stopped her show before my favorite song bc she knew I was there and thanked me for coming from the US to see her. I will never forget this night.
I was supposed to work tomorrow but said fuck it and got someone to cover for me. Off for the next seven days, and meeting up with @MeloncitoMelo Thursday in Mexico City. It’s gonna be a good fucking week.

8 years since my gastric sleeve surgery, and it is one of the best decisions I ever made. I’m proud of my old self for choosing health. He sacrificed a lot, not knowing how it would work out, but it turned out better than he could have ever dreamed of. Love you all, take care 💜
