𝗚𝗠 🚨 𝗥𝗪𝗔 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡. 👀 Went through the latest @binance Research report, and I think this is a really interesting way to look at the next phase of RWA. Here’s the breakdown 👇 1️⃣ RWA IS GROWING FAST RWA AUM hit $34.18B, up 85.2% YTD. It’s spreading beyond Treasuries: •⁠ ⁠Equities: +390.4% •⁠ ⁠Gold & commodities: +46.6% •⁠ ⁠Private credit: +43.6% •⁠ ⁠Real estate: +17.9% Binance’s angle: more and more traditional assets are moving onto blockchain rails. 2️⃣ BUT WE’RE STILL EARLY Only around 0.01% of underlying markets are tokenized. Tokenized equities are just $4.43B vs a $151.9T listed-equity market. The opportunity is still massive. 3️⃣ THE NEXT RACE = ACTIVATION Binance Research introduces: PAR → how much of the market is tokenized. CAR → how much tokenized capital is actually being used on-chain. Trading. Liquidity. Lending. Collateral. Current CAR is around 12%. So the question is changing from “What can we tokenize?” to “What can we actually do with it?” 4️⃣ EQUITIES ARE ALREADY SHOWING IT Tokenized equities grew 390.4% YTD. More importantly, equity CAR jumped from 1.95% → 7.54%. And 93.5% of deployed equity value comes from liquidity pools and lending. The assets aren't just sitting on-chain anymore. They're starting to become financially useful. 5️⃣ THIS COULD BE THE BIG UNLOCK Binance Research's 2030 base scenario: $349B of equities could become programmable. 10% CAR → $34.9B deployed 20% CAR → $69.9B deployed Same tokenized supply. 2x the capital activation. 6️⃣ MY TAKE RWA 1.0: Put assets on-chain. Passage odds immediately collapsed, with the bill potentially pushed to November. 2/ 📍 Fed hiked to 3.75–4.00%. The first hike since 2023 landed just one day after the CLARITY Act setback. Core PCE forecasts rose to 3.4%. 3/ 📍 BTC dipped to $74,913 — then recovered to $81,500. An 8.7% rebound in five days. The market may have already priced in the bad news. 4/ 📍 SEC launched a 5-year Innovation Exemption. Even with legislation stalled, regulators are moving forward with a framework for tokenized markets. 5/ 📍 S&P Global acquired OpenZeppelin. A major signal that traditional financial infrastructure continues moving deeper into blockchain and smart-contract security. 6/ 📍 Crypto meets geopolitics again. The US Treasury sanctioned Iranian crypto exchange BitBank, alleging it moved funds connected to sanctioned entities. 7/ 📍 BTC back around $81K. ETH ~$2,655. SOL ~$111. And BTC is once again knocking on the $82K wall. 8/ 📍 So what happens next? CLARITY could return later in the year, while the SEC/CFTC increasingly shape the regulatory path. November FOMC is next on the macro radar. CLARITY failed. Fed hiked. BTC bounced anyway. The market absorbed two major shocks and came back swinging.
