Some clips last night during our severe coverage when the studio started flooding. #cILw #ILwx

Omaha, Nebraska with my colleagues in the National Weather Association. @nwas

Good morning from 30,000 feet. See you soon @nwas.

That cloud is on fire.

There is a small tornado risk for tomorrow late afternoon/evening. Storms mainly after 4pm may pose a threat through the late evening hours. Best chance is along and south of I-74/I-72. It's Illinois after all so always be on guard.

I’ve got the WCIA 3+ streaming studio all set up for severe mode if we need to track some storms tonight on the socials. Meet me here if things get noisy later.

When a Halloween costume conversation during the 4pm newscast turns into a viewer dropping off a costume at the station for @amandabrennantv who is going to be a "flag" on the play and then tries it on for our 5pm audience. 🏈

Heads up! We are going to be watching later tonight for a few severe storms mainly after 10pm. Not only that, but THURSDAY will also wind up being a day we will have to watch out for severe storms. It's been a few months since we've had severe weather, so just a little extra heads up since we've sort of been "quiet" for a bit.

SUMMER to FALL incoming.

Record breaking temperatures today. 90° recorded in Champaign. This breaks the old record of 87° set back in 1962. This is also the 2nd latest 90°+ day EVER since records began. The latest is Oct 14, 1899 when we hit 91°.

The first hurricane of the season in the Atlantic basin occurs on October 7th. Isaias just crossed the threshold to 75mph and will strengthen over the next 24 hours.

What a show @johnsummit

Taking the day off as the weatherman to go see @johnsummit at @statefarmcenter for his first ever arena tour. Can’t wait! Come support this @UofIllinois alum on homecoming weekend. If you still need an opener to the opener just let me know. I’m available. 🤣

An absolute weather jackpot for this Saturday's @IlliniFootball tailgate and homecoming game.

How about that chill in the air this morning? These were the low temperatures across the area.

Looks like some upper 40's tonight for some.

Weather Garden: Summer mode➡️Fall mode.

Postseason baseball incoming! @Cubs

Always a pleasure to join @BBarn64 on @wdws1400 to talk weather.
