My favourite part of the #Olympic2024 opening ceremony was when we spent 20 minutes watching a robot horse try make it to a 40 minute shareholder's meeting.

So, God delegated the task of *building* the ark to Noah, but took it upon Themself to *tell* all the animals to get to it? Why? It seems like a pretty arbitrary division between Production and Marketing.

Why are all the double-barrel first names always the standard things like "Mary-Kate" or "Michael-John"? Why aren't they more adventurous and beefy, like "Theresa-Veronica" or "Johnathan-Johnathan"?

The Ampath slogan is "Pathology is in our DNA". I can see what they're getting at, but it kinda just sounds like their DNA is toxic...

What are some of the ways to mime "I'm sorry/forgive me"? I can only think of holding both hands up and dropping your head slightly, like a symbol of subservience. There's also the tilted head + frown, but that could also just evoke pity, not a request for forgiveness.

I will NEVER not be THOROUGHLY PISSED OFF that the global consensus is that 12AM means midnight, and 12PM means midday. PM means "Post Meridiem" ("After Midday"). You can't be 12 after midday AT midday. Sure, you can't be 12 *before* midday, either, but it's the lesser evil...

I suppose, if you wanted to be pedantic about it, you'd have the clock count *down* in the morning, and up in the evening. So it'd go: - 12am/pm (makes no difference) - 11am - ... - 1am - Meridian - 1pm - ... - 11pm - 12pm/am That way you'd be right saying "ante" and "post".

When a space fills you with panic as soon as you enter it, it's probably not a good space to be in, is it?

1) Data protection lets you process special personal information (SPI) only with specific justifications 2) "SPI" includes race 3) "Processing" includes using information for any purposes, like, say, making swords glow blue So) Elven blades are in breach of data protection law.

Hey @SpurRestaurant, I don't appreciate placing an order at 18.30 and having to wait till 20.15 for a response. And @UberEats, I don't appreciate the driver leaving to grab McDonald's for himself, and then you guys cancelling the order.
