This is the city of Sejong.
It is a brand new planned city built from scratch in the last few decades.
South Korea built this.
Why can’t we?
Some boomer posted this on Facebook
Dude never heard of anyone moving to China today for work
Or the thousands of US engineers who went to work in the USSR when there were no jobs during the great depression
The US regime is so intent on being the UK of North America
We in Canada should endeavour to become the China of North America
Conservatives want you to be proud that our infrastructure sucks and that you have to shill out thousands of dollars a year in your own money to pay for private transport while your taxes can’t even maintain roads and bridges
A clownshow
Trump insisting on the AI oligarchs in the US calling artificial intelligence “superintelligence” is beyond parody
1. AI is a general category, of which super intelligence is a subset
SI specifically refers to an AI that’s capable of doing things better than a human, as opposed to AGI which is comparable to a human
2. Neither US nor Chinese AIs are at a point yet of meeting even AGI, never mind SI.
3. Seeing the tech oligarchs have to rush to change their company websites to SI domains to appease Donald is very funny
So why does Donald insist on changing the meaning of AI? Pretty sure it’s because his monke brain thinks artificial is synonymous with “fake”— a word he has claimed he came up with 😂
This guy is the president of the US and never figured out artificial refers to electronic as opposed to human intelligence
Goofy
China must be having a laugh
“Everyday low price” 🤡 🎪 🤪 😵 🤡
Y’all know my stance on this: Canada in order to be self reliant must build electronic production from mining to final product independently and as fast as possible
But under liberal/conservative leadership that will never happen
So I speak for all gamers when I say China is our only hope for salvation from the absolute clown-pilled price gouging of the memory market
But of course our ruling classes will ban Chinese parts once they become more competitive with TSMC
What a joke
Imagine spending the price of a used car on a couple memory sticks I could buy for a couple hundred bucks a few years ago
A joke.
