I remember where I was when I watched the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth and how I sat stunned at the end. One of the best pieces of tragicomic writing ever, in any form; worth another look today of all days.

Something amazing just happened. Recently a raw tape of John Lennon’s final live performance on A Salute to Sir Lew has been discovered at the British Film Institute. It contained an entire unseen performance of Stand By Me. We have a 15 second clip for now🥹🥹🥹 Woww

Genuinely have no understanding of how anyone can afford to attend concerts anymore. I paid £40 to see Springsteen in 2003 and a lot less than that for concerts in the 90s, surely these prices aren’t comparable with what is charged today? Am I wrong?

Nobody else looked, sung, or moved this way. Elvis is in a complete class of his own.

My favourite @tompetty song I Won’t Back Down, still can’t believe he’s gone but this is a fantastic solo version by @KTTunstall who does him proud. vm.tiktok.com/ZGeWpPjKU/

RIP John Mayall. His contribution to the UK blues scene can’t be quantified but I was at this gig, his 70th birthday concert and it was fantastic. Mick Taylor, Clapton and a red hot band: youtu.be/W7Mr6XBmIjI?si=836n…

No matter how inferiorly England compares to the rest of the game's heavyweights on the pitch, no nation has ever recorded a better football song than New Order's World in Motion in 1990.
