What does it take to be a Day 2 VGC Player? In this thread, I asked my Day 2 students 5 questions. This will serve as a dual-purpose thread. 1. Document students' Day 2 results 2. Give multiple perspectives on how Day 2 players think This thread will be ongoing, and I will continue to add more student success stories as they come. The questions: 1. What was the single biggest change you made in your prep that helped you break through to Day 2? 2. When you looked around at Day 2 tables, what made you feel like you belonged there? 3. What was the hardest part of your journey to Day 2, and how did you push through it? 4. If you could give one of piece of advice to someone still stuck at Day 1, what would it be? 5. How did coaching (or working with a group) accelerate your improvement compared to preparing alone? If you are interested in working with me to play Pokemon at a higher level, shoot me a DM! 🧵🔽
