Awful lot of people seem to lack a very basic understanding of how tax works judging by some of the comments around marketplaces like Vinted sharing data with HMRC.
No, you won’t need to pay tax if you’re selling something for £3 you bought for £30 - but if you’re regularly selling stuff for £30 you bought for £3, you’re going to have a bit of a wake up call.
