These requirements are part of changes to federal law passed in 2025. Check out the Medicaid Work and Community Engagement (MACE) website to learn more about the changes ahead, whether they will impact you, and what you can do now to prepare.
A federal law passed in July 2025 is changing the rules about who can get Medicaid and what some members must do to keep it. You may be affected if you are ages 19 to 64, qualify for Medicaid based on income, and are not exempt.
The Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services has created a website where members can learn more about these new rules. Visit the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange (KHBE) website to see these changes: buff.ly/knQ4kHx
