#NationalTreeWeek starts today! Most UK bat species evolved to use trees as roosts, while many also forage in woodland. In addition, trees provide excellent commuting habitats.

This little bat is a Kuhl's pipistrelle, the 1st record for Norfolk! It was found trapped in an industrial unit in Great Yarmouth. No injuries just underweight & very thirsty, so after a few days TLC with one of our bat carers it will shortly be released back at the coast.
