A lot of comments about this post are “how will they actually kill us?” Think terminator, ai builds itself a robot that it controls. Most manufacturers use some form of robotics. What’s to stop ai from using all these technologies and build itself a self.

My wife stopped at a garage sale recently and bought our grandkids a scooter for $3. They played with it for a bit and it was set aside. I got off work and my 2-year-old granddaughter wanted me to help her ride it.

Knee, sock and whatever else she found amusing. We must’ve played “sticker” for about 30 minutes until it finally lost its tackiness. During those 30 minutes I didn’t think about anything else but the game, and it was probably the most relaxing and fun 30 minutes.

I’ve had this year. These times don’t last, and they’ll never come again. I enjoy these moments so much more as a grandpa. I tell everyone the funnest time in my life was being a dad. This “papa/gramps” time, though, is amazing and might end up being even better. Thanks for reading.
