Thanks to such generous donations from parents, staff and Tesco, our Community Cupboard is now stocked and ready to open! This is open to anyone in the local community. Call into the school office in confidence if we can help. @AquilaTrustUK @CanterburyDio #communitycupboard
Our thanks to Nikki from Tesco for an extremely generous donation of goods for our Community Cupboard. We are so grateful that Tesco are going to help going forward too. Well done Year 6, your letters clearly had an impact! @AquilaTrustUK @CanterburyDio @TescoAshford #community
Last weekend Year 6 had the opportunity to go on their residential to PGL Windmill Hill. The children got to take part in a wide variety of activities ranging from sensory trail and den building all the way to zipline, rock climbing and aeroball. @AquilaTrustUK @CanterburyDio
Today we are marking World Music Day with a day of performing, learning and celebration. We are discovering musical styles from around the world and learning about rhythm, melody and cultural context. @AquilaTrustUK @CanterburyDio #worldmusicday #creativity #musiceducation

Thank you to everyone who attended our art exhibition yesterday – it was wonderful to see so many families celebrating the children's fantastic creations.
If you would still like to purchase your child's framed artwork, you can do so until Tuesday 12th May. @AquilaTrustUK
What a busy week! Dance workshops, an author visit, football matches, a brilliant Family Worship and lots of fantastic learning! Our allotment and Forest School are full of life too! @AquilaTrustUK #forestschool #outdoorlearning #growyourown
Year 6 have been enjoying their survival unit in Forest School this term. Today they experimented with how to make clean water through filtering...we are not sure it is quite ready to drink yet! @AquilaTrustUK #forestschool #outdoorlearning #scienceinaction #survivalskills
What a fabulous festive day! From a surprise staff panto, to Christmas dinner, market and café and finishing off with Carols Around the Tree. Thank you to all our parents and carers who joined us today. We hope you are feeling ready for Christmas now!
Two wonderful examples of creativity from our children today. A stunning drawing of The Highwayman from Sophia in Year 6 and a beautiful Christmas tree created by Marcia in Year 5! You would not believe it was made from toilet roll tubes! Well done to them both!
Mitzvah Day was a huge success last week. We swept up leaves, picked litter in the local area, wrote thank-you letters, and tidied our school grounds. This active approach to community teaches us the importance of environmental stewardship and civic engagement. @AquilaTrustUK
Observing Mitzvah Day also helps us to know about social action in other religions. We sent letters of gratitude to the emergency services and other agencies who help us and we hope our parents enjoyed their paintings and thank-you messages too! #socialaction @CanterburyDio
Thank-you for the extremely generous Harvest donations last week. The Foodbank told us you have provided enough to feed 183 families. We will be handing the toiletries to Porchlight when they join us for worship after half-term. Thank you.
