Over 3 MILLION people have watched this video now across social media platforms. And it got us thinking... If every person who watched donated just £1, we would have enough to complete the entire four-year phase of the Shankly Glenbuck project! That’s the power of coming together. We know not everyone can donate, and we would never expect everyone to. But if you believe in what we're trying to do — preserving this incredible story, honouring my granddad’s roots, and helping bring new life and opportunity back to Glenbuck and the surrounding villages — then even the smallest contribution can make a real difference. £1. £5. £10. Every donation matters. And if you can't donate, please share this post. That costs nothing, but it could help us reach the person who can. Over three million people have already seen the story. Imagine what we could achieve if even a small fraction of them decided to become part of it. Donate or find out more here: "Shankly Glenbuck Village CIC – Donation Page" (share.google/On859Y8MpZpqsiB…) Together, we can make this happen.

He was born in Glenbuck - a tiny mining village that helped shape the man who would go on to change Liverpool Football Club forever. It’s hard to put into words what he went on to achieve, or how much he continues to mean to so many people. But behind the legend was a boy from Glenbuck, and that place was always part of him. So today, on his birthday, it feels incredibly special to share this story. And perhaps the greatest birthday gift we can give him now is to help bring his journey full circle — returning to the place where it all began. From Glenbuck. To Liverpool. And now, back to Glenbuck. Happy birthday, Grandy. You are loved, remembered, and missed every single day. ❤️
