This was a lovely surprise for me, on a very big morning for thousands of young people.
Good luck to everyone getting their A-level, T-level and BTec results today. Whatever it says in those envelopes, you should be proud of the hard work that got you here. And remember, there isn't just one route to success.

Too many people feel like modern life is designed to catch them out.
It should be just as easy to cancel a subscription as it is to start it. And if something is advertised as half price, it should actually be half price.

We’re changing the rules.
When applying for a contract from the government there will now be one simple test: are you creating British jobs? And are you giving young people the skills they need for the future?
These new rules will ensure the £90 billion that is spent each year through government contracts supports British jobs, skills and people in every postcode.

106 years ago today, Marcus Garvey created The Pan-African/Black Liberation flag.
Garvey was the father of the black nationalist and pan african movements, activist & founder of the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League (UNIA-ACL)
Color Meaning:
Red: the blood that unites all people of Black African ancestry, and shed for liberation;
Black: for the people whose existence as a nation, though not a nation-state, is affirmed by the existence of the flag.
Green: the abundant and vibrant natural wealth of Africa, the Motherland.
