Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.
Early this year, I lost my vehicle in a nasty accident. Then a few weeks ago, I found myself in need of a vehicle to manage movements and kid drop offs, etc. I was on the phone with @KennethBNyanzi talking about the energy sector when I casually mentioned that I needed a vehicle. “Andy, where can I deliver a vehicle for you today?” He lent me a car for about six weeks, at no cost!
When I sent his car back, I also sent a small cash gift. He called me to protest that he didn’t expect anything in return for his kindness to me. Wow. Thank you, Sir 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

A mature individual sees self-realization not only as a right and an opportunity, but also as a conscious duty to their own conscience. Through self-realization, a person realizes their potential most fully and contributes to the growth of goodness, human well-being, and all that is valuable.

Funny enough the CB and comm bank balance sheets indicate money expansion due to extending credit to govern not private sector. As I do monthly, I’ll be pointing out what the sheets indicate.

Cancer has become our major killer. Ten days ago, it took my mother.
When detected early, treatment outcomes for most cancers are good. For mom, we only diagnosed it two weeks before it killed her. Even her cancer therapy results hadn’t returned from overseas. Test. Test. Test.
Pink October is breast cancer awareness month. Go for screening. @KarisMedical is partnering with Quality Supermarket in Naalya every weekend to provide free screening. Dr. @DLukwiya and I invite you.

Public (gov't-aided or UPE/USE) schools in Uganda offer key benefits, primarily around access, affordability, & social inclusion under Uganda’s UPE, since 1997 and USE, since 2007. These are NRM policies by H. E @KagutaMuseveni @StateHouseUg @mkainerugaba @GCICUganda
😭😭 I have just come across this trending video in which the Lord Mayor Hon. Balimwezo raises serious concerns, alleging that the kampala minister Hon. Hajjati Minsa Kabanda and others are involved in the alleged sale or sharing of government/KCCA schools with other Members of Parliament around Kampala.
In the video, he describes the Kampala Minister as an enemy of schools and mentions a phone call that he believes raises further questions. He also expresses concern that some pupils cannot even afford to sit their P.7 examinations. 😭💔
Now, if some parents are struggling to keep their children in school, and public schools are indeed being sold off or allocated to individuals, what future are we preparing for our children?
Personally, if these allegations are true, nange Uganda jivamu! 😭😭
Our public schools are not just buildings; they represent hope for millions of Ugandan children whose parents cannot afford private education.
I hope the relevant authorities will clarify the matter, investigate the allegations transparently, and protect public education. We need facts, accountability and answers. Our children's future must never be compromised. 🙏🇺🇬. @JanetMuseveni @mkainerugaba @Nyinancweende @AntiGraft_SH @KagutaMuseveni

Uganda’s shilling has weakened by nearly 9 percent against the US dollar in three months, driven by rising import costs, stronger demand for dollars, global financial pressures and reduced foreign-exchange inflows.

Uganda’s mineral wealth must translate into investment, productive industries and prosperity for our people.
Last week, we held valuable discussions with Lord Raval during his fact-finding visit, alongside Uganda’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom and the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister. I deeply appreciate his engagement and the shared commitment to connecting Uganda’s opportunities with investment and expertise.
One compelling proposal was the establishment of a minerals exchange. A well-designed exchange could bring buyers and sellers into a transparent marketplace, improve price discovery and strengthen confidence in mineral trading. For Uganda, this presents an opportunity to explore better market access for producers, stronger quality assurance and more accountable trade.
NPA has begun the initial thinking on this proposal, examining how it could support our national priorities for investment, value addition and industrial transformation under NDP IV and the Tenfold Growth Strategy.
Our investment outreach continues. The task now is to turn promising conversations into credible proposals, practical partnerships and tangible benefits for Uganda and the wider region.
“The true measure of our mineral wealth is the prosperity we build from it.”
