Great comment before the match by @miarobbo3 saying the team needs to show more toughness/ meanness. Seeing some of that today.

Thank you @JenniferSey - I am following and supporting this courageous young woman and urge others to do so too.
This 17 year old is braver than half the adults in this country. She is incredible. Can we all give Frances a gigantic Terven welcome? She has 1700 followers. We can do better than that! Show her your support. Tell her how many of us there are out here that have her back!

Clay is right. Too many men, including girl dads, are being cowards. Letting these young girls do the work alone.
These teenage girls in Washington are braver than millions of grown men in America. They refused to run against a biological male in girls' cross country. Why are 15-year-old girls having to stand up for basic fairness while grown men are too cowardly to speak out? Ridiculous.

Last year, we were often the better team and others stole a point. Nice to be on the other side of that. We were not winning 50-50 balls enough and our passing still leaves much to be desired

Can someone tell me how Democrats controlling the House or the Senate will result in better economic statistics than these? What programs are they proposing that will improve on these?
IN FACT, the rate of inflation, real median income growth, and the poverty rate are all better under Trump and a Republican Congress than they were under Biden and a Democrat Congress. Here are the specifics: • Average annual inflation during Trump’s second term (with Republicans controlling both the House and Senate) has been 2.9%, which is 41% below the 5.0% average under Biden and 55% below the 6.5% average under Biden while Democrats controlled both the House and Senate. • Real median household income, which is published only on an annual basis, grew from $85,210 to $87,460 during the first year of Trump’s second term, or by 2.6%, which is 445% higher than the average annual growth rate of 0.5% under Biden and markedly better than the average annual decline of 1.3% under Biden and Congressional Democrats. • The poverty rate, which is published only on an annual basis, was 10.2% during the first year of Trump’s second term, which is the lowest level ever recorded in U.S. history, 9% below the average annual rate of 11.2% under Biden, and 13% below the average annual rate of 11.6% under Biden and Congressional Democrats. • Because association doesn’t prove causation, the data above cannot prove which politicians have done a better job on the economy, but they do deflate Jeffries’ rhetoric. • In prior election cycles, major media outlets, in concert with leading Democrats, have misled the American people by talking down the economy despite robust economic indicators during Republican presidencies and then talking up the economy with similar indicators during Democrat presidencies. Finally, someone in the media admitting the truth.
🚨 There it is… In a rare moment of honesty, The Atlantic’s David Brooks admitted something that should be a crime—and proves exactly why President Trump banned certain media outlets. “Starting in 2015, we in the Main Stream Media learned that if you bash Donald Trump, the clicks go up, the ratings go up— it became the business model. And we get to go to sometimes off the record dinners between journalists, columnists, and politicians. And I would say over the last two years, when you were at a dinner with Democrat politicians, there was distance between the journalists and democrats. They’re politicians, it’s our job to keep some distance. In my view, in many of the places I’ve been to, there’s no distance anymore. And that is the problem for the media. We have to establish some distance from the Democratic Party. These are people we cover, these are not people we root for. We’re not supposed to be spin doctors for them…” rumble.com/v7ga4ba-the-atlan…

Truly wonderful story of early American heroes.
On this exact day in 1780, three ordinary militiamen stopped a stranger on a road, searched him, found treason hidden in his boot, turned down a small fortune to let him walk, and in doing so saved West Point and possibly the whole Revolution. Their names were John Paulding, Isaac Van Wart, and David Williams, and almost no one remembers them. They were not famous soldiers. They were young New York farmers, part of the informal patrols that watched the dangerous no-man's-land north of British-occupied New York City, a lawless strip crawling with raiders and spies from both sides. On the morning of September 23, near Tarrytown, they stopped a well-dressed rider who called himself John Anderson. Here is where luck and character collided. The rider, seeing rough men in mixed clothing, guessed wrong and assumed they were Loyalists like himself, and he let slip that he was a British officer. The instant he realized his mistake, he tried to backtrack, but it was too late. The three militiamen were suspicious now, and they decided to search him. They made him strip, and inside his stockings, tucked into his boot, David Williams found folded papers, detailed plans of the American fortress at West Point, its defenses, its garrison, its weaknesses. They had no idea, in that moment, that the man was Major John André, head of British intelligence, or that the papers had been handed to him by Benedict Arnold himself in a treason plot to sell West Point to the enemy. But they knew they had caught something enormous. And then came the test that made them heroes. André, desperate, tried to buy his freedom. He offered them his fine horse, his watch, and money, and by the account given at his trial, a bribe of a thousand guineas in gold, an almost unimaginable sum for three farmers of modest means, enough to change their lives forever. All they had to do was let him ride away. They said no. Three poor young men, offered a fortune to look the other way, refused it, and instead marched their prisoner to the nearest American officer. That single act of plain honesty unraveled the entire conspiracy. The papers exposed the plot to betray West Point. Arnold barely escaped to a British ship. André was tried and hanged. And the fortress that guarded the Hudson, the linchpin of the American position, was saved. The young nation understood what it owed them. Congress voted the three men the very first military decoration in American history, a silver medal called the Fidelity Medallion, its reverse inscribed with a Latin motto meaning "the love of country conquers." Each also received a lifetime pension and a farm. George Washington himself presented them their medals. Remember Paulding, Van Wart, and Williams. Not generals, not statesmen, just three farmers on patrol who happened to stop the right man on the right morning, and who then proved that they could not be bought at any price. The Revolution was saved that day not by a brilliant plan or a famous hero, but by ordinary men who were simply, stubbornly honest when a fortune said they should not be.

Excellent article in the @nypost today by @JenniferSey describing why Nike’s place in the market has crashed due to a head in the sand old boys club atmosphere at the top. Well written Jennifer.
