Kenect Recruitment, a leading provider of high-quality staffing solutions across the UK, is proud to announce its transition to 100% employee ownership through the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).
This significant milestone means that the business is now wholly owned by its employees, marking a new chapter in Kenect Recruitment’s 13-year journey. The move is part of a strategic succession plan aimed at securing the long-term future of the business, protecting its strong culture, and rewarding the dedicated team that has been instrumental in its success.
Founders Julien Smith and Jason Whittenham will remain actively involved as Directors of both Kenect Recruitment and the newly formed EOT, ensuring a smooth transition. They are joined by four additional Directors: long-serving employees Adam Turner, Luke Bodell, and David De Lacy Jones, along with the company’s accountant, Paul Woodcock.
Julien Smith commented, “When we started this business over 13 years ago, we never imagined reaching the level of national recognition we hold today. Our success has always been driven by the hard work and commitment of our team, and transitioning to employee ownership is our way of ensuring the future of the business remains in the hands of those who built it.”
