Apparently they don't understand the meaning of the word temporary or that the Canadian government didn't promise them anything. Meanwhile, I had a conversation with the bartender at my local pub yesterday. She's a lovely young British woman who's been working there for the past 2 years as a TFW. She recently announced that she's leaving in 2 weeks because here work permit is expiring. I asked her if she could try to extend it or just stay on anyway. Her reply was that she understood that her permit was temporary and that maybe she would apply for residency after she returned home to England, but would never overstay. That is how the program is supposed to work folks. That's actually how my French wife came to Canada 31 years ago. We need to restore order to our very broken system. junonews.com/p/they-promised…

This story is absolutely outrageous. It should make your blood boil A Christian couple had their teen daughter taken away from them by CPS after Oregon’s Dept of Human Services determined they caused “mental injury” by refusing to “affirm” her transgender identity. They’re also permanently listed on the child abuse registry‼️ They’re now fighting back by SUING the state and their child’s therapist in an effort to clear their names.

I’m going to caveat what I’m about to say by stating I don’t give a shit about Pierre as a political figure. But the inability of the Canadian media to hold the ruling party to account while constantly punching at the opposition who has NO actual political power is straight up propaganda.

Nordstrom would rather impress woke activists than serve the women who actually buy their clothes. I opened the app to shop for a blazer and was greeted by a male model with little girl braids. This isn’t fashion. It’s ideological propaganda. It’s disturbing, and it needs to stop. No blazer. No sale.

You don’t hate the media enough CP24 News in Canada reports on a foreigner Uber Driver who sexually assaulted a woman in a parking lot. The woman left, he followed her, captured her and sexually assaulted her again The media assures the audience “She wasn’t hurt” The woman was just brutally sexually assaulted twice in the same day and the media wants to cover for the foreigner and lets their listeners know “She wasn’t physically hurt”…… what do you call getting sexually assaulted???

I’m not doing this because it’s easy. I’m doing it because I don’t want another girl to feel the way I felt. No girl should have to choose between her dignity and her education. If what I say means something to you, please share it❤️
When New Richmond High School allowed a biological male into the girls' restroom, @EllaFrei17 never imagined her life would change forever. What began as a fight to protect her own privacy has become a mission to ensure no girl is forced to choose between her dignity and her education. Get the full story from Ella here: ow.ly/pJ3T50ZtPOA

Rule #1 in business: The private sector will always do it better than the government. Here are businesses Canada’s governments need to get out of. • Healthcare — allow private hospitals and insurance • Canada Post • CBC / Radio-Canada • VIA Rail • Liquor stores • Cannabis stores • BC Ferries • Sasktel • Auto insurance monopolies • Casinos • Electricity • Banking Canada’s governments monopolize private enterprise across insurance, electricity, liquor, lotteries, telecom, banking, rail, post, media, and medicine. Privatization of these industries would boom our economy, bring in hundreds of billions in investment, result in massive job creation and retention, and create budget surpluses. Never mind what we could do if we opened the gates on resource production. Canadians have no idea how socialist and underperforming our country is because they’ve grown up with it and think it’s normal. Politicians blame Trump, but the problem is always in the mirror.

It’s super weird and kind of creepy to me the obsessive nature of Canadians injecting Trump as an insult in every conversation. I’m like 93% sure it’s worse than the democrats in America. How about you start holding your own government to the same level of scrutiny. That’s what a real patriot would do. 🤷‍♀️

Canada has reportedly signed the UN Cybercrime Convention. The Liberal government should explain why there was no parliamentary or public debate on this treaty that many believe will impact on the surveillance of Canadians: 1. Why was this decision not announced publicly? 2. What changed since Canada’s earlier concerns about surveillance? 3. Will implementing legislation be required before Canada can fully ratify and implement the Convention? 4. How will Charter rights and privacy protections be safeguarded? 5. Will Parliament have the opportunity to fully examine any implementing legislation before ratification? 6. Has the government assessed the Convention’s implications for AI, cloud computing, and cross-border data governance? These are important questions for Parliament and for Canadians. unodc.org/unodc/en/cybercrim…

Let me empathize something. 1.8 million Canadians visited the U.S.A. in one month. That's only vehicle trips. Annually 30 million Canadians visit the U.S.A. Any talk about boycotting the U.S. is bullshit. Just like everyone is still on this platform, still shopping at Walmart, and still watching US movies. We depend on the U.S.A.
The number of Canadians visiting the U.S.A. by car increased by 264,355 to 1,803,242 in May 2026, compared to a year ago. The boycott of America is over.

Quite the chutzpah for Turkey to open this kettle of fish. If Turkey is now committed to "decolonization," does that mean they will give back the lands taken from the many ethnic and religious minorities who have been victims of Ottoman & Turkish imperialism? Will the Armenians have their ancient lands restored to them, or receive reparations for the genocide inflicted on them in 1915? The Kurds given the right of self-determination? The ancient Greek regions returned? Will the 1974 Turkish invasion and occupation of Northern Cyprus be reversed? Will the descendants of Jewish families who fled Kemalist policies of forced assimilation be given compensation? Will the Hagia Sophia be returned the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, from whom it was stolen? Will there be a truth & reconciliation project recognizing the millions of slaves taken & trafficked by the Ottoman Empire, particularly the countless boys kidnapped from Balkan Christian families for forced military service? Will compensation be given to Christians for the hundred of Churches and monasteries destroyed? The possibilities for Turkish decolonization are endless.
At the World Decolonization Forum, Dr. Esra Albayrak, the daughter of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, spoke about their endeavour to “decolonize” the West. The first phase of their plan as she says is not within the political realm, but the realm of knowledge and thought. Their alliance is not advocating for a world without the West, rather, there is an open invitation for the West to accept its own “decolonization”. The current centers of knowledge located in Paris, London, Amsterdam. And New York; need to be replaced by new centers in Istanbul, Jakarta, Addis Abbaba, Rabat, Cairo, and Gaza.

Wrote for La Presse for 25 years—without compensation. Was proud of it. My column was discontinued this Spring after I posted a message on Facebook expressing concern that Ottawa’s media tax-credit program could compromise editorial independence by encouraging pro-Liberal and anti-American narratives. This week, I was stunned by a column from Francis Vailles in which he essentially wrote that he never imagined he could hate Americans—all Americans—so much. Vailles is a respected and talented columnist whom I have read regularly for years. Although La Presse stopped publishing my work, I continue to pay for a monthly subscription because I believe Canadians should support independent journalism whenever they can. But Vailles’ comments shocked me. Even more troubling, his column became one of La Presse’s most-read articles of the week. He described feeling repulsed when seeing an American flag in a movie and abandoning online chess games upon discovering that his opponent was American. These are deeply personal expressions of hostility toward an entire nationality. Democracies need free, independent and balanced media. This was not balanced journalism. It normalized hostility toward another country and risked encouraging readers to feel the same way. Our democracy is increasingly unhealthy. Canadians have been bombarded with biased messaging for years now, and the problem appears to be getting worse. La Presse is certainly not alone. I do not know how we get out of this mess. But I hope Canadians will eventually receive more balanced information—reporting that helps them understand what is actually happening in the world, rather than commentary driven by hostility toward Americans, or anyone else for that matter. A columnist’s responsibility is to inform and challenge the public. This crossed the line into pure advocacy.

This attitude, together with the declining attachment to Canada amongst Gen Z, is partly the result of shredding Canadian history and civics in our school curricula. How many of these young people who prefer a strong-man republic could write a paragraph accurately describing our constitutional monarchy rooted in the Westminster Parliamentary tradition? How many of them have been taught the fascinating story of the organic development of Parliamentary government over eight centuries? How many of them have been taught to be proud of having inherited one of the most stable, democratic systems of government in the world? A system that created the concept of the rule of law through the Magna Carta, the Common Law, habeas corpus, trial by jury, religious liberty, the abolition of slavery, etc.. How many of them have been taught anything memorable about the fight for responsible government in Canada, and how it is embodied in our Parliamentary institutions? Or the division of powers in our federal system? How many of them know that Canada is the fourth oldest continuous democratic state on Earth? Not only have they been denied this basic civic literacy that is a requisite for responsible citizenship, but they have been denied access to the poetry of patriotism: the old stories and heroes (including ordinary heroes like the voyageurs and pioneers,) that formed and transmitted pride in Canada for generations. Instead they are more likely to have been taught that Canada is a genocidal white settler society built on stolen land; that our British and French roots and institutions are the regrettable vestiges of Eurocentric colonialism; that our founders were nasty racists; and that we continue to be characterized by systemic racism. So is it any wonder that rather than embracing the customs and institutions that made Canada one of the most successful nations on Earth, the emerging generation prefers a strongman? This is the rotten fruit of the Canadian educational establishment having been dominated by Gramscians pumped out by OISE and adjacent institutions for decades.
NEW POLL: One in three Canadians says a strong leader who does not have to bother with Parliament and elections could be a good way to govern. Among Canadians under 30, that rises to 47%. The divide over democracy is increasingly generational. abacusdata.ca/canadians-want…

🚨 BREAKING: Happening right now in an Ottawa criminal courtroom, Ezra Levant is being cross-examined about his social media posts and personal opinions, while serial criminals are being released because of delays in the justice system. Ontario taxpayers, rejoice! Instead of your tax dollars going to schools, hospitals, or other public services, they are being spent getting to the bottom of what Ezra thinks and posts online. All for the good of the public. I am sure.

Crown prosecutor Michael Purcell is now reviewing posts and commentary from Ezra Levant’s X account. Levant said the posts are irrelevant and it is why it is NOT in the affidavit. ** It is insane that the cross-examination has now turned to Ezra’s comments on X.
