Over the coming weeks, #128Bn will be put through intensive scenarios, from live-fire drills & battlefield inoculation to C-IED training & Rules of Engagement. This high-intensity training ensures every soldier is prepared for the complexities of Southern Lebanon.
PUBLIC NOTICE: Today, there will be a convoy of MOWAG Armoured Personnel Carriers travelling from Cork City to the Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare.
We can confirm that this convoy is the 128th Infantry Battalion conducting mission readiness exercises ahead of deployment to UNIFIL next month.
Mission Readiness Exercises are critical activities to train and prepare our personnel for conducting duties in Southern Lebanon.

The role of peacekeepers is sacrosanct, and all should go above and beyond to prevent them from coming into harm’s way. I would like to pay tribute to the courage, resilience, and professionalism of the Irish peacekeepers who came to the aid of their Ghanaian colleagues today. I have been briefed on the latest situation, and all Irish personnel serving in Lebanon remain safe and accounted for.

For individual users with assets suffering from the #Crowdstrike #Microsoft outage. Here is a work around. Removing the file "C00000000291-00000000-00000030.sys" and restarting the OS is stabilising the systems at the moment.
Workaround Steps:
1. Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the windows recovery environment
2. Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrikedirectory
3. Locate the file matching "C-00000291*.sys" and delete it.
4. Boot host normally
