If it wasn't already obvious I've moved over to Bluesky and will try my best to double post here but if even some of you move over there I would very much appreciate it.

Nolan is a filmmaker who I have many issues with mainly is sound mixing is atrocious unless you see it in a specific audio setup. Anything else and the mix completely falls apart. And even then the home releases often get remixed (ie Bane in Dark Knight Rises).
The problem with THE ODYSSEY will be the same as with some of Nolan’s previous films like Oppenheimer or Dunkirk. No matter how good the film is, some people will dismiss it simply because they have a different vision of the story, both narratively and formally. Learn to judge a film for what it is, not for what you want it to be. Focus on the filmmaker’s intentions instead of thinking, arrogantly, that your own interpretation is necessarily the best one.

So #Superman2025 dropped a trailer on my bday. So Happy Bday to me! As a kid it was always Batman but as I became an adult and especially over the last decade or so I've grown to connect with the Blue Boy Scout more and more. Thank you @jamesgunn for such a great Birthday present
