A while back, this Drempts weirdo blocked me, and I genuinely had no idea who he even was. I only found out about him because I saw one of my mutuals replying to his post. After seeing this garbage take, it all makes sense. These are the same people who post terrible takes for engagement, then block anyone who might actually challenge them. Apparently, being a "blue check" who isn't afraid to call people out and doesn't care about protecting some fake online "image" makes me a problem for them lol Max Long did the exact same thing after I called out his ridiculous comment about James Turner's art. What's even worse is how many people continue to give these accounts a platform. Some of you follow them hoping for a blue check follow-back, then spend the rest of your day complaining about the state of the hobby, how you can't find product, and everything wrong with the TCG community. Here's the irony: You're helping give a platform to the very people contributing to the problems you're complaining about. These engagement farmers thrive because too many people rely on internet personalities to tell them what to think, what to buy, and how to feel about the hobby. It's toxic, and it's one of the reasons the TCG community is in the state it's in. Stop giving these losers your time, attention, and engagement. We've already seen several of them lose significant engagement over the past few weeks. The hobby would be a much better place if more people started thinking for themselves instead of treating blue checks like they're the authority on everything TCG-related and giving engagement to these stupid takes.
