BREAKING: In an unbelievable moment, Republican Senator Thom Tillis breaks away harshly from Trump's policy on Ukraine, calling Vladimir Putin "a cancer, and the greatest threat to democracy in my lifetime." Make sure everyone sees this.

I agree, it's situational. My concern is about the original post misleading people to believe immigrants are being handed $82K in cash every year. Immigration is needed w our aging population. Could the system be better? Of course. Do all immigrants get a handout of 82K/yr? No.

You mean Dr. Larry Braunstein of Queen’s NY? He’s a podiatrist in Queens who rented his office from Trump’s father, Fred Trump? His daughters say their father often told the story of coming to the aid of a young Mr. Trump during the Vietnam War as a favor to his father. “I know it was a favor,” said one daughter, Dr. Elysa Braunstein, 56, who along with her sister, Sharon Kessel, 53, shared the family’s account for the first time publicly. Elysa Braunstein said the implication from her father was that Mr. Trump did not have a disqualifying foot ailment. “But did he examine him? I don’t know,” she said. Why didn’t Trump go to his own primary doctor? Why do you think Trump would go to a Doctor Who is leasing office space from his father just for this purpose? Clearly, it was a favor. In contrast, Tim Walz served 24 years in the national guard and was deployed to Italy in support of the Afghan war for nine months. He also chose to run for Congress and retired prior to his unit being called up for service. One did everything he could dodge the draft and the other devoted 24 years of his life to serve our country. Btw Tim Walz was up for retirement in 2001 after completing 20 years of service. After 91/11 he decided to re-enlist and continue serving on behalf of this country. So on one hand, you have a draft dodger, and on the other you have someone who qualified for retirement yet relisted for an additional four years because he loves this country.

I thought Trump was a traitor in 2018 in Helsinki when he sided with Putin and betrayed America. I think he’s a traitor now congratulating Putin for the hostage deal releasing American prisoners while criticizing Biden. He doesn’t belong anywhere near our White House.

🧵Donald Trump is denying any ties to Project 2025—an extremist policy agenda masquerading as a traditional conservative platform. Trump has realized that this is a liability for him with voters, but the cat’s out of the bag. As someone who worked with these people when they first attempted to start implementing some of these policies, here’s a reminder of who the authors are behind Project 2025:

Reading this makes me feel sick—and penitent that I didn’t figure it out for another 18 months. Kagan nailed it, sadly. – at Washington, DC
Re-read this whole piece by Bob Kagan from 2016: "This is how fascism comes to America...with a huckster...tapping into popular resentments and insecurities, and a political party—out of ambition or blind loyalty, or fear—falling into line behind him." washingtonpost.com/opinions/…
