In 2017 we wanted more people to get the same thrill we do out of our favourite race day.
We had 520 manually enter a punters club.
Today we will have over 15,000 people invested in the outcome 🤯

Had a heap of fun with the @BeersBetween lads to close out 2022.

I asked BGP followers why they DON’T go to the races...
Overwhelming response about alcohol being too expensive.
On my mind: there’s a lot of marketing this time of year to get people to the track.
If we don’t get them punting or have more people punting, the industry is still farked.
That’s the unfortunate truth of it.
We can have the best DJs, bean bags, beers on course BUT…. ⤵️
Lotto turnover swells when prizes jackpot. We need a simple turnover product for current non TAB customers to encourage a funnel of new punters.
Kiwis do gamble. Ask Lotto and Sky city.
But racing is too complex.
We need simple products to create large scale volume increases.
