Luke Lilledahl's U23 Worlds run ends in the bronze-medal match 🇺🇸 Japan's Daito Katsume beat the Nittany Lion 7-2, so the defending champ finishes 5th in Las Vegas. After an upset loss in the Round of 16, Lilledahl battled back with a 5-0 repechage win just to get a shot at a medal.

Well, that sucked. Defending champ Luke Lilledahl falls 3-1 to Kazakhstan's Merey Bazarbayev in the Round of 16 at 57kg. Coming in, the Nittany Lion had reached the gold-medal match at all five of his age-group World Championships. He's not out yet: if Bazarbayev makes the final, Lilledahl gets pulled back into repechage for a shot at bronze 🤞

Darnold's first pick came on a play where the design set him up perfectly. Kupp's motion cleared Ja'Quan McMillian out of the MOF, and JSN took Jahdae Barron and Taylor Rapp up top. You throw this on time, it's a no-brainer completion to Horton. Abrams-Draine is playing catchup.
