Holiday highlight from last month. Flying back from Morocco, Winnie (6) had my phone & headphones. I assumed she was playing a game. Turns out she was sat there listening to Bill Callahan. 😎

Money from the biggest stadium & arena shows flows into the LIVE Trust, which reinvests it into the live ecosystem. Through the UKAT fund, delivered by the FAC, this funding directly supports UK artists—helping tours happen, and strengthening the future of live music.

New Reform candidate Matt Goodwin has claimed that being born and raised in England doesn't make you English.
These Luton workers proudly disagree.

Lots to be shocked about here. One, there are people in this world that think nothing of boiling animals alive. Two, they are up in arms at this change in the law. Three, they claim it’s an attack on their heritage. It’s the end of a barbaric practice is what it is.

Union reps:
Resolve disputes at work, not in ET’s
Keep workplaces safe
Help workers’ access skills & training
Give people voice at work
Make workplaces more productive & more rewarding
& more
My prediction for 26? More groundless scare stories about decent rights @ work 🙄

An historic day.
New rights for millions of workers, and testament to years of union campaigning.
More to do working with the government to make sure the secondary legislation is watertight, and to deliver the rest of the Make Work Pay agenda but for now…

🚨BREAKING: Employment Rights Bill passes in the House of Lords and will become law.
This is an historic day for working people across the country, and the trade unions who represent them.
Some of the watershed measures this Bill delivers:
➡️ Banning exploitative zero hours contracts
➡️ Sick pay for all from day one
➡️ Expanding paternity, parental and bereavement leave
➡️ Strengthening protections for pregnant women, whistle-blowers and victims of sexual harassment
➡️ Making flexible working the default
➡️ Repealing Tory anti-union laws
Unions and workers have long campaigned for these vital rights.
Finally, working people will enjoy more security, better pay and dignity at work thanks to this Bill.

21 years away, and they just picked up where they left off - so much love in those shows. Am so excited for @gene_band’s return, good to see you again @MartinRossiter ❤️
Still coming down from the Sheffield & London comeback shows by @gene_band. This band mean everything to me, I’m so glad they’re back.
What a wonderful gift to @tomhingleymusic from @stan_chow. Lovely gesture.

Dick Gaughan has been badly served by the music biz and now ill health prevents him from performing. His entire career has been about showing solidarity for people in need. Let's show some solidarity for him now and get this project funded and flying
