I cannot thank @Coppertailwolf , her community and @MrBadBit enough. In June I’ll undergo an 11hr surgery that will take me awhile to recover from- a Steam Deck ensures I’ll be able to recover from bed while still able to comfortably game. Thank you 🥹 I’ll stop crying soon 😭❤️

I have a campaign live now and we are about halfway to our first goal to get @KellyShmo a steam deck! Kelly has stage 3 breast cancer and is undergoing treatment, chemo and a procedure in June. (THIS IS NOT FOR MEDICAL)-- Everything donated goes towards first getting her a @valvesoftware @OnDeck Steam Deck so she can play her comfort games during chemo, at home feeling sick after chemo, and post major surgery recovery in June.
🚨(If you saw my previous post about a very generous human getting her one himself from ebay- he ended up getting scammed. He was refunded and donated the money already to the campaign like the angel he is!)🚨
This is all fundraising by gamers, for a gamer going through hell and needing a distraction!
Anything raised after the steam deck can be ordered will go directly to Kelly for other comforts she may need (battery packs, games, a fluffy blanket if she wants it- anything that brings joy or comfort during this very difficult battle).
I will be posting regular updates, along with shouting out people who have contributed.

Does anyone have or know someone that has a Steam Deck that they either don't use or would be willing to donate?
As many of you know our @SeaOfThieves Sister, @KellyShmo is in her battle against cancer right now. (fuck cancer) and is in need of a mental escape, especially in the midst of her up coming surgery and recovery.
I'm planning to run a fundraising event soon, however the Steam Decks are sold out everywhere so finding one is the first step! so if you are looking to sell or donate yours please dm me. ❤️
Cancer sucks. Everyone deserves to have a break to distract from their reality when that reality is difficult to manage. Would love to see this community come together to provide something that brought us all together in the first place- gaming.
Kelly is a gem in this community and others. She's provided years of streaming and content creation to this community and is one of the sweetest, strongest, and genuine people I (and many others) know. Lets rally behind her 🫶
So someone in my building took my food delivery from Pink Ribbon Good. I thought about going door to door, but maybe they needed it more than me and I’m sure the karmic standing for stealing cancer food isn’t great 😂
Update: I’m bald as hell and Pig finally had surgery and is already doing so much better 🥹
Last shitty chemo infusion is Tuesday 🙌🏻 although tbf I’ll miss being a cue ball a little bit, my showers are considerably shorter without ass-length hair
Chemo feels like a bad hangover that lasts for four days and it turns your pee sweat and tears bright red 😒😒😒 luckily I’m halfway through this stuff, then it’s 12 weeks straight of the less crappy stuff
Cancer really has me doing things I hate like eating vegetables, answering the phone all day every day, and now asking for help 😣 even if you aren’t able to help by donating, sharing is also a great way to help me. #fuckcancer
