Loved what I saw today from '28 @KeithUrgo W Patrick Shime (📸 #11) in a nice road win against the host Quakers 15p 2r 1a 6/9 FG 3/3 3P -Shime knocked down 3s off the catch, didn't waste any dribbles getting from the wing to the rim on several drives, and provided some versatile defense '28 F Dave Mbuyamba (11p 3r 5a 1b) continues to prove his worth as a cerebral frontcourt piece that can really pass from the high post or the low block, finishes with a soft touch in traffic around the rim, and rotates well to contest shots around the rim

Reminiscing… Darius Quisenberry and Khalid Moore were two of the best transfers Fordham has ever had. They combined for 32.6 PPG in ‘22-23, helping the Rams to 25 wins. Miss this duo.

The Fordham men’s basketball team’s 54 wins during @EdKullStJohnsAD's 3 years as AD are the program’s highest 3-year win total since the 90s. What Ed did at Fordham was remarkable. We are fortunate to have him in Queens #sjubb Link to our Full Sitdown👇 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Had a chance to catch up with the new Gonzaga Head coach Keith Urgo, a 1997 Gonzaga graduate who steps in to replace Steve Turner, whose incredible WCAC tenure ends as he departs to the sunshine state to coach Montverde. @KeithUrgo @GonzagaSports youtu.be/dokueq1gY6w

when the Fordham coaching change happened, our focus was on Keith Urgo. But his staff was also great and will be missed. Congrats to @Doubler14. And thanks to @Henry_Lowe_ & @TrayWoodall1

Story by Mark Grace.... Rick Sutcliffe gave up back-to-back Home Run`s in Cincinnati. And in Cincinnati, they shoot off fireworks after a Red hits a home run. Sutcliffe was pretty intense on the day he pitched. So Eric Davis takes him deep, and Paul O'Neill takes him deep right after that. So Sutcliffe is all mad, and pitching coach Billy Connors comes out to the mound and Sutcliffe yells at him, "I know I gave up back-to-back home runs, but get your ass back in the dugout and tell Zimmer to settle down too!" Billy looks at him and says, "I know you have everything under control, Rick. I just wanted to give that guy running the fireworks a little more time to reload." With apologies to Mr. Sutcliffe, still my favorite baseball story!

Some people leave a mark on your life forever. Coach Urgo, you’ve been more than a coach you’ve been a mentor, a brother, and a guiding force in my journey. This isn’t the end, just another chapter. And like you always say Attitude. The best is yet to come.

Dear Coach Keith Urgo I have been trying to find the right words to express how much you have meant to our family, especially to Ryan. You were never just a coach to him-you were family.  From the moment @KeithUrgo we sent our 18-year-old son 3,000 miles away to New York to play for you, we knew he was in the best hands. You have been there for him in ways that go far beyond basketball. You lifted him up when he was homesick, encouraged him when he was frustrated, and helped him grow into the college basketball player he is today. You made his dream come true, and for that, we will always be grateful. Even now, during this incredibly difficult time, you have taken the time to reach out to him and offer your support. That means more to us than words can say. He may look like an adult, but he's still an 18-year-old who feels like he has lost his best friend. Your kindness and guidance have been a beacon of light for him, and you will always be a huge role model and integral part of his life. Thank you for everything you have done. And thank you to your family for sharing you with us for the past year. We know it is not easy, and we're so grateful for their generosity and understanding. The Pettis Family
