After calling for the House of Lords to be abolished, @SadiqKhan has now taken his seat as Lord Khan of Tooting, while remaining Mayor of London.
Havering must not be treated as a cash cow for inner-London.

Sadiq Khan wants to impose at least 73 additional permanent Gypsy & Traveller pitches on Havering over the next decade. The second-highest target in London!
I questioned why Havering is being asked to shoulder such a disproportionate burden.
✅ VICTORY FOR LAUNDERS LANE RESIDENTS
My amendment on Launders Lane PASSED at the London Assembly.
Residents have suffered for far too long. We now need Govt, City Hall and the relevant agencies working with Havering Council to deliver the funding and permanent remediation.
London taxpayers should not be footing the bill while senior City Hall officials moonlight hundreds of miles away.

Good to see the new SL12 Superloop up and running in Havering but one route is not enough.
I’ll keep pushing Transport for London for a second Superloop to better connect the north and south of our borough and improve transport links for residents.
