If you’re curious why I keep calling the AI industry a cult, look at the comments.
The relative strength of a cult’s hold on its followers is proportional to the amount of cope you get when you say something that violates their beliefs.
Enough of all of this garbage. If anyone is willing to challenge me, I will set up an airgapped computer, and anyone who can break into it with their magic physics-defying AI without physically touching the machine or anything near the machine will get an apology from me.
But: I get to pick and set the machine up, including its physical environment, and you are not allowed to physically touch the machine’s surroundings.
To win, you will have to demonstrate that you are correct by placing a file of my choosing onto the airgapped machine’s mass storage device. Just to repeat, you cannot physically touch the machine or its an environment, no plugging something into the machine after entering the machine room or what have you.
I’m pretty much assuming that none of the bullshit artists talking about this will be willing to try, and that any who are willing to try won’t get anywhere at all, but if you really want, I am happy to be shown how stupid I am.

As per sources something is definitly afoot in Iran. Within an hour there can be BREAKING news
I would suggest putting on CNN International; not sure if domestic will be simulcasting
Since for the time being CNN and MS Now are orphan networks this can prove challenging soon

"There's a good chance we're in an earnings bubble because this [AI] build-out is going to end at some point, and let's face it, banks are also on the AI trade... I mean these guys are making billions of dollars when they bring these companies public," per Stanley Druckenmiller

The New York Times reports the White House is drafting a rule, a years long priority for Vance, letting married couples with one stay at home parent draw childcare subsidies from the federal Child Care and Development Fund. The fund holds 12 billion dollars a year and is not growing to cover the new category. Four out of five current recipients are single mothers, most on poverty wages, drawing an average near 700 dollars a month to help pay for care while they work.
Nothing about this plan adds money. It adds eligible applicants to a pot that already denies five out of six qualifying families every month, by HHS's own count. A single mom working a shift job keeps her voucher only as long as the money holds out, and her new competition for it comes from married households that can clear 80,000 dollars a year combined and still qualify. That is the actual mechanism sitting underneath the family values framing. Somebody's voucher funds somebody else's stay at home.
J. D. Vance wants to send cash to married moms—but the specifics of his proposal could produce cruel results, @AnnieLowrey argues. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…
Hot off successfully replacing Ayatollah Khamenei with Ayatollah Khamenei, Trump has now successfully replaced the 1951 US-Denmark treaty with the 1951 US-Denmark treaty. A record to run on!
This historic deal is a huge win for the United States and the American people. Thanks to President Trump’s vision and leadership, this historic agreement permanently guarantees U.S. security interests in the Arctic at zero cost to the U.S. taxpayer.
Greenland will forever be part of the strategic defense area of North America and exclude any adversary from it and the surrounding area.
This deal permanently and completely addresses our national security concerns in Greenland.

Fires are visible in multiple locations at the Kapotnya oil refinery in Moscow this morning (local time). Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces posted a fire emoji on X, a signal they have used before to seemingly imply responsibility without making an official claim.
No official confirmation has been issued by Ukrainian or Russian authorities.
The Kapotnya refinery, Moscow's largest, supplies roughly 35 to 40 percent of the capital's fuel market. It has been struck repeatedly since June 2026, including two major attacks within days of each other that damaged its primary crude processing units. Industry estimates put full repairs at up to a billion dollars, with some analysts projecting the facility may not be fully restored until 2027.
The extent to which the refinery is damaged is still being assessed.

The White House rollout of the Greenland deal was truly impressive. All of their influencers echoed the exact same talking points. Everyone launched in unison last night. They even had cool charts. Even the trending topic on X repeated the WH line. Others should study this rollout & learn from it.

Listen, you can call him Lord Garth of Izar for all it matters, but for the rest of us, it's the Secretary (and Department) of *Defense* until Congress passes a law saying otherwise.

US bombers are either heading for Iran or Yemen. Iranian military is on high alert. As are all US embassies in the region.
Whether the US strikes Iran or Yemen, it only confirms the continuation of the escalation cycle rather than the winding down of the war and debunks the Trump's stated strategy.

BREAKING: Ukrainian drones have just struck Russia's Kapotnya oil refinery in Moscow, the city's only refinery with a capacity of around 280,000 barrels per day, in a raid on the capital this morning.
This comes only six days after Trump claimed that Ukraine had agreed to stop hitting Russian energy targets, that Russia had agreed likewise, and that the world's diesel price rise "is mostly caused by the Russia/Ukraine War, not Iran."
Ossoff: Did you see this business about Don Jr.‘s wedding in the Bahamas? Where he received, apparently, a cash gift from a Russian oligarch connected to the Kremlin? This is the president’s son. This man, Kremlev, was apparently in China with Putin two days before he flew to the Bahamas for Don Jr.’s wedding to hand Don Jr. a six-figure check.
They are behaving as if they believe themselves untouchable, entitled to impunity beyond the law. And it reminds me of the story that Amos told us about his times 2,000 years ago in the West Bank…
Amos said that in his times, while they, the elite, trample on the poor, they build houses hewn of stone.
In our time, while they throw people off their health insurance, they build ballrooms with your money.
Amos said they lie on beds of ivory and anoint themselves in the finest oils. They were living in Mar-a-Lago-like conditions.

I'm struck by how the MAGA echo chamber has suddenly embraced international law, declaring with certainty that the new agreement on Greenland obligates signatories to abide by it "forever."
I wonder what signatories of NAFTA, JCPOA, USMCA, the Paris Climate Agreement, etc. would say about the US credibly committing to treaties for years, let alone forever?
