Thrilled to share this groundbreaking study with an amazing team! Tracking the daily movements of 5M US smartphone users, we find that the food options people have available on the go have a bigger impact on the healthiness of their choices than the options in their neighborhood.
📢New paper: "Effect of mobile food environments on fast food visits" in @NatureComms. Using large-scale data and 62Million visits to food places we investigate what drives people to visit fast food places where they happen. And that is well beyond homes!
