We had such an amazing time. @lukejbutterly and I couldn’t be happier. And everyone needs to join this club! The loveliest people in Belfast! Xx
We’d a wonderful day at our first wedding in the club for many years. The lovely couple had the room decorated beautifully. We wish them every happiness 💕

Roger Law was the best. A superb, supportive colleague and a lovely man. Roger dealt with every legal challenge with a quiet determination and a wry sense of humour. He was such a reassuring presence. You knew you were in safe hands. Thank you Roger. Rest In Peace.
Very sad news. The brilliant BBC lawyer Roger Law has died. So many BBC producers & reporters will be eternally grateful to Roger for getting their films on air over last four decades. He was a legendary figure, perhaps the best-ever lawyer in history of broadcast journalism.

Well said Eamonn. They could just geoblock reports on the Olympics not the entire programme. It is amazing that France24, AlJazeera and a myriad of non UK channels can show Olympics coverage in the UK but RTE can't. A very odd state of affairs.

Now the geoblocking ban has been extended to all the major @rtenews television bulletins at 1pm 6.01pm and 9.00pm. Disgraceful that we won't even be able to see preparations in county Armagh for Sunday's All Ireland football final or subsequent reaction to the result & homecoming

Hurling appears to be a mix of UFC, rugby, hockey, football, baseball, the egg and spoon race all whilst hitting a snooker ball as hard as you can as high into the sky as possible towards goal with what looks like the bones of a tomahawk steak. 10/10. Would recommend #hurling

We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of our former President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Peter Gregson. He was a values-led, inspirational leader, whose commitment to Queen’s students, @QUBStaff and the wider University community was unwavering. Our entire University community extends its deepest condolences to Lady Gregson, their daughters Ellie, Maria and Chrissie and the family circle. You can find out more about Sir Peter below or here: ow.ly/kE7p50QHKCT

Reply saddened at the death of Peter Gregson. He was a great Vice Chancellor of @QUBelfast and led significant advances in our organisation and ambition. In leading change Peter consulted widely to good effect. I worked with him closely and will remember him fondly.

Lough Neagh is being killed. Killed by incompetence, indecision and a divisive political vacuum. @tomheapmedia reports from the crime scene. youtube.com/watch?v=L8euT0lZ…

How to make Lough Neagh the largest cesspit in the United Kingdom? Easy. Ask NI agriculture minister Edwin Poots, the man who changed the rules so that famers who repeatedly and negligently break pollution laws can have their fines capped at 15% of previous levels.🤬🤬🤬

Two former BBC panjandrums said to be in running to be boss of struggling CNN: Mark Thompson, former New York Times CEO and BBC DG; and James Harding, former editor of The Times and head of BBC News (currently running Tortoise). Thompson said to be front runner. Tough gig.
