Negotiations have reached a decisive stage where players have to take a stand. Players will continue to speak up until a fair agreement is reached. The next move belongs to League headquarters.

On the opening game day of the USLC season, Louisville and Lexington players paused live play immediately after kickoff. With the match clock running, both teams stood in place for 60 seconds in a unified display of resolve. This is not symbolic. #StandUpForStandards

Ten-year USL veteran. 2015 Goalkeeper of the Year. Someone who’s lived it. Brandon Miller has a message for the players in the league today: Your unity is powerful. Stay the course. Read his full message here: brandonmiller.site/post/addr… #StandUpForStandards

Don't be fooled by [40k compensation] Its not the same as 40k salary. This essentially could be 20k Salary & 20k of insurance coverage. Get hurt or really sick in the US 20k could be an emergency visit. BTW this is crazy for a league thats wants Div 1. See why standards matter?

As CBA negotiations continue (season kickoff is supposed to be Friday!), this is essential reading from @USLTactics. $300 million (or more!) is about to flow into USL HQ. As constructed, every penny will stay at USL HQ. Questions abound for USL. backheeled.com/usl-business-…

Why the USL’s expansion-first business model is breeding instability in American soccer

Clubs are folding at a breakneck pace, but the USL keeps cashing expansion fee checks.

Players have spoken. Players have overwhelmingly REJECTED the league’s latest CBA proposal — and AUTHORIZED A STRIKE if necessary. This isn’t about extras. It’s about basic professional standards. The message is unified. The players are ready.
