modern longevity has forgotten its roots
before healthspanners, before sleep-score influencers, before supplement-peddlers, even before transhumanists, there were the russian cosmists
they spoke not of optimization, but of resurrection - not of health, but of abolishing death itself
they believed the dead must be restored, that life must spread beyond earth, that the cosmos itself must be remade alive
now that vision has been gutted, sanitized, and sold
longevity is transhumanism stripped of courage - descended from cosmism yet emptied of its purpose, its moral weight, its collective defiance against death
today the field drifts without memory or mission, its fire reduced to branding, wellness, and empty content
resurrection for all became performative longevity for the self
we traded the common task for profit and vanity and called it progress
the great betrayal of our time is not the loss of belief in immortality, but the illusion that we are still working toward it
