This is by far the dumbest argument Bronstans make….that if LeBron James wins a title or two in PHI as 4th option or could or would make Bron the goat. Glad Mario Chalmers pointed out titles in PHI mean nothing got a goat discussion.
If you’re trying to use 4th option for goat, you already want Bron as goat.
Even 2nd option titles mean very little if it’s not a 1A 1B situation. 3rd opinions mean nothing.

Nick Wright challenges Dan Patrick’s argument that peak Larry Bird was better than peak LeBron James, pointing to LeBron’s scoring, defense and passing
Nick Wright pushed back on the idea that LeBron James would not have been a top three player during Larry Bird’s peak in the 1980s, arguing that Bird’s overlap with Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan should not be used to diminish LeBron’s place in that era.
When Dan Patrick asked what LeBron does better than Bird, Wright pointed to his defensive ability, passing, scoring consistency, efficiency and durability. He even acknowledged that Bird was an underrated passer and a better shooter, but argued that LeBron was the more reliable scorer.
Patrick gave Bird the edge in shooting, rebounding and clutch play, while Wright challenged the claim that Bird was more clutch, citing LeBron’s playoff and regular-season scoring numbers.
The debate reached a turning point when Patrick asked whether LeBron’s defensive peak, including coming close to winning Defensive Player of the Year, should heavily influence the comparison.
Wright then pointed out that Bird made All-Defensive teams three times, but never the first team.
Patrick eventually conceded that LeBron was the better scorer and defender, with the two being equal passers, before saying Wright’s take had disappointed him.
