FII is a sinister term currently used for what used to be called Munchausen’s Syndrome by Proxy.
It is being slapped on parents trying to advocate for their children with abandon, by everyone from clinicians to junior social workers.
In reality, it is vanishingly rare, and it is questionable whether it exists or is a fever dream of alleged misogynist paediatrician Roy Meadow.
It is being used to unlawfully remove children from the care of their parents and deprive them of their rights and liberty.
