Coach Scheyer on what he wants Duke fans to understand about this year’s team:
🗣️ “I think with our team, really support the growth of this group is what I would tell them (Duke fans). We have to get our floor higher in terms of how consistent we are. I know at the end of the day, you got guys that chose Duke over the NBA. They chose Duke instead of transferring, instead of leaving or going to just a different place from high school. I hope they appreciate their commitment and to join us on this journey, because it’s going to be a fun one.”

Doesn’t have his helmet but the good news is that he’s walking on his own.

Duke commit Luke Paul on future teammate JoJo Boumtje-Boumtje, who he faced in the FIBA U17 World Cup semifinals this summer:
🗣️ “He’s an exceptional player and at the World Cup he gave us some work. I’m super excited to play with him. He’s very versatile, plays inside and outside, come off hand-offs, come off on balls. I’m excited to play the middle pick and roll with him because I think we are going to be something special.”
