I TRAVELLED ALL THE WAY TO ONUASATA, ENUGU STATE, JUST TO PLAY ON THIS PITCH! 😂❤️⚽️ A few weeks ago, I came across a video of this pitch on TikTok. The pitch had an irregular shape, the goalposts weren’t even opposite each other, and I immediately knew I HAD TO PLAY HERE! I reached out to the guy who posted it, told him I wanted to come play with them, and eventually, I made the trip to Onuasata, Enugu State! What I experienced was even more beautiful than I imagined. The people, the love, the energy, the football! We organized a little 4-set tournament, played some football and had an unforgettable time. I went there because of the pitch, but I left with so much appreciation for the people and their football community. ❤️ Sometimes, the most beautiful football stories are happening in places the world barely pays attention to.
