This new Arsenal away kit is quality. The colours, the design, the whole retro feel… it instantly takes me back to the classic JVC shirts from the 90s. Adidas absolutely smashed it. ❤️💛💙 #COYG #Arsenal

The best decision I ever made was choosing me… Sometimes it takes a lot to walk away from all the things that no longer serve you but I am the happiest I have been in years….. I’ve learnt to love me…. Something I never thought I would say.

My friend Kelly has had her account hacked. Her new account is genuine. I have spoken to Kelly outside of X and she’s having to start all over again after years of building her account up and raising awareness for autism. Don’t be afraid to give her a follow @CymruKelD83

NHS Discharged Schizophrenic Killer Months Before He Attacked. The public inquiry into the Nottingham stabbings has heard how paranoid schizophrenic Valdo Calocane, a Guinea Bissau born dual Portuguese national who came to Britain as a teenager, was discharged from mental health services just nine months before he slaughtered three innocent people. NHS staff admitted they couldn’t find or engage him despite repeated attempts. The 32 year old, who had been sectioned four times, warned by doctors that he could kill someone, and had a history of violence, was quietly handed back to his GP in September 2022 with minimal warnings. No follow up. No police alert. Just another box ticked in a system under pressure. Emma Robinson from Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Early Intervention team told the inquiry today: "We couldn’t work with him, we couldn’t find him at this point." Care co-ordinator Gary Carter, who now faces disciplinary action, had tried calling, visiting addresses, and sending letters, all without success. Calocane had missed appointments, stopped engaging, and seemingly vanished from the radar. So the decision was made to discharge him. Born in Guinea Bissau, West Africa in 1991, he moved with his family through Madeira and Lisbon before arriving in the UK in 2007 at age 16. Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, he had been under the Trust’s care since 2020. He was assessed under the Mental Health Act six times, leading to four admissions. One consultant psychiatrist, Dr Faizal Seedat, had explicitly warned him during a hospital stay that he could end up killing someone. Despite all this, the system let him slip away.On 13 June 2023, Calocane went on a frenzied knife rampage through Nottingham’s streets. Barnaby Webber, 19, a university student and sports fan, was brutally stabbed to death. Grace O’Malley Kumar, also 19, a medical student and hockey player, was murdered as she tried to help her friend. Ian Coates, 65, a school caretaker and grandfather, was killed while going about his day.Calocane also injured three others in a van attack. The families have been left devastated, demanding answers and accountability. Barnaby’s mother Emma Webber and Grace’s father Dr Sanjoy Kumar have spoken powerfully at the inquiry, calling for individual and institutional responsibility. Ian Coates sons described their father’s life as treated like an afterthought. The inquiry has revealed a series of errors: - A mental health nurse admitted to copying and pasting notes with fundamentally wrong entries in Calocane’s file. - Previous reports, including a CQC review and NHS England homicide investigation, highlighted serious misjudgments. - Discharging patients due to non-engagement had apparently become normalised amid resource pressures. - Policy requiring family consultation was not properly followed. - Calocane disliked needles, so depot injections were avoided despite his non compliance with oral medication. One doctor later admitted discharging him to a GP was not a good plan and would likely draw criticism. Another said a longer Section 3 detention for supervised community treatment might have been more suitable. The Trust has apologised, saying it is profoundly sorry for missed opportunities, though it claims the tragedy was not entirely preventable. Changes have since been made to handling non engaging patients. The two year independent inquiry continues. It will examine not just the NHS but also police, CPS, and other agencies. As one relative put it, this must lead to real change, not more reports gathering dust. Britain cannot afford another Nottingham. #UKNews #CrimeNews #Nottingham
