The big win for me personally as Council approved the housing strategy is getting to work with @BriggsAlexa who drove action on this for @calgarycvo #nonprofitsvote
To all the fierce nonprofit champions and those leaders on City Council who choose to listen and act in the best interest of (almost) all Calgarians by being brave and support a people first housing strategy, THANK YOU! #yyccc
There are so many strong and effective nonprofit voices speaking out at Council today and through this submission.
Nonprofits in #yyc are a force! We put out the call, and 92 organizations answered in asking #yyccc to move forward on housing and affordability. We'll be joining others today in presenting and making our case for keeping Calgary affordable for our essential #nonprofit workforce.
Looking forward to seeing many in support of this critical issue at the rally on the steps of the municipal building at noon today.
Together, we wear red in support of a more affordable #Calgary. Together, we stand in front of City Hall because we need action now.

Right now rising housing costs are contributing to an #affordability crisis in #yyc. The average rent rose a shocking 22% in the last year, while the cost of buying a home is seeing the fastest increase in the nation. Demand > Supply. #yyccc #yychousing

Is 5th street is now being removed for the Arena? What is happening with the @calgaryopera building that was part of the 2019 Rivers' District vision on the corner of 5th and 12th? #yyccc
Proud of how many business leaders mention getting support from #nonprofits at @calgaryeconomic Report to the Community. Looking forward to breaking silos and building a prosperous community and economy together.
This is an excellent read that mirrors much of what we have been seeing in Alberta and adds some thoughts for how we might change our collective future #nonprofits #nonprofitsvote
.@CanadaHelps has released its annual Giving Report, which sheds light on charitable giving in the nonprofit sector. The findings are concerning, with over 30% of charities reporting a significant drop in revenue and 55% a decline in volunteer numbers. buff.ly/3KuNqoU
