Day 4 of of building in public, looks like I broke through the cold account start and am getting more reach.
Here's what I have done so far:
- Show what I'm shipping
- Try to be generally helpful to people/share my experience.
- Answer everyone within 30 mins
- I broke through the reach barrier, with some memes about the crazy all birds pivot, will post in a comment
I'm tracking all ideas, experiments, and results. Thinking of open sourcing this if anyone is interested let me know in the comments.
apparently nokia pivoted form toilet paper, to foot wear, to AI.
Have you considered maybe we are the crazy ones? maybe we are just not seeing the vision?
Allbirds $BIRD to sell its brand and footwear assets, rename itself NewBird AI, and use a new $50M convertible financing facility to buy high-performance GPUs to pivot into AI compute infrastructure.
everyone cracking up about the all birds to AI pivot.
But let's not forget Nokia was still selling boots in the 90s.
If Claude is coming for you business don't dispair, you can always pivot into footwear.
Allbirds has raised $50mm to pivot its business to AI compute infrastructure
Allbirds now has a long-term vision to become a fully integrated GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) and AI-native cloud solutions provider
Here's why many AI marketing skills for claude actually show you wrong data.
If you are at scale it's likely you have split your account into different sub accounts by geo under an MCC, e.g.
My Company MCC:
- My Company US
- My Company NL
- My Company GB
The google ads API doesn't let you query ALL accounts in 1 go, the way you'd handle this in a data warehouse is to do a fan out.
You basically query each individual account and then you join across accounts to create one clean data set to analyze.
It's these details a lof to AI generating marketing gurus tend to miss.
So for those panicking that AI took over already.
There is still some hope.

day 2 of building in public!!
I just tested if I could use my app to plan my life cycling one handed drinking coffee.
Here's how it works:
> I started a voice chat with buron
> buron agents have persistent memory.
> these are structure files that live in the cloud and survive across conversations.
In buron I have: product notes, channel strategies, competitor profiles, customer entities, idea backlogs, brand docs, analysis files, source material, and a full activity log.
When I start a new chat, buron figures out what it needs to know
So this morning, on my bike, via voice:
1. Talked through a customer engagement.
The structure, who owns what, what's due. buron kept getting things wrong at first. Mixed up a product idea with a consulting project. Split one client into two. I corrected it each time via voice. By the end it was all filed correctly. Those corrections are permanent now.
Next session it won't make the same mistakes. >> it then loggod goals, todos and updated my cal
2. Brainstormed a product concept.
Talked through the core insight, two go-to-market motions, who the first customers could be. All synthesized and filed as an idea page.
3. Did competitive research.
Profiled three prospects. Updated a competitor that's grown way more than we thought. All filed as entity pages.
4. Analyzed a friend's social strategy.
Fed in his recent posts. broke down the patterns. Format mix, posting cadence, what drives engagement. Filed as a source with takeaways.
> Set 10 weekly goals.
> Filed with a tracker.
> Full conversation transcript saved as a source file. Nothing gets lost.
The whole thing took maybe 40 minutes of talking while cycling. Everything is structured, searchable, and ready for the next session.
One of the goals for the week is to build in public so will let you know how we progress!
Cursor vs Google on support shows you exactly how you can beat legacy corporates if you're AI native 👇
@cursor_ai :
> makes billing mistake
> I email support AI picks it up and checks usage
> auto refund with personalized email from @mntruell
@antigravity
> I get €270 Ultra sub to test
> hit usage limit day 1 (how?)
> there are no usage logs
> support hidden in corporate labyrinth
> support asks me to upload screenshot
> screenshot upload closes chat, back to labyrinth
> support doesn't have troubleshooting tools so only thing they can do is read the error message
> suggest to post to their forum because they can't do anything
> I ask them to cancel the subscription
> support: ok, but antigravity and google drive are bundled so we'll take that away as well
