Osibanjo detailed how he worked with Tinubu to recover these mandates for Fayemi, Rauf and others.... Fast forward to 2023.... Fayemi challenge Tinubu to a contest.... I wasn't surprised...He was chairman of the powerful govs forum.... Oshiomole detailed how Fayemi led other govs to humiliate him out of office... He codedly work to see APC defeated in Edo despite Tinubu publicly backing Ize Iyamu.... In these rumbles ...you won't find Fayemi publicly acknowledging or rejecting these accusations... That is what makes him more dangerous... Soft spoken but venomous.. He has a doctorate in war studies....and in war.. strategy is key.....Fayemi is deploying these strategies to good effect....Whether he finally wins depend on the adversary... When he was contesting for President....he thought he could build on the momentum of dislodging Oshiomole..rally the govs around himself and get Buhari nod... But when Tinubu read the riot act in the Abeokuta " Emilokan" declaration.... Its Echo shook not just those hoping to package Fayemi but the entire APC foundation..... The Tinubu...the Fayemis thought they have buried resurrected.... The APC national chairman even vow to discipline Tinubu for the " noise in Abeokuta"... In Eagle Square.....Fayemi knew he doesn't have the numbers... he beat a retreat and endorsed Tinubu... The War doctor knew when to fight another day..... Tinubu may be very accommodating but he hates chameleon.... he sidelined Fayemi.... Unlike Fashola who was eager to return to law practice....Fayemi has lost appetite for lecturing..... like a lion cob train with blood....they don't eat grass... Fayemi can only smell power now....Few months ago.... he publicly stated that he may have defeated Tinubu if he didn't step down.....He knew he was lying...but it is strategy.... He has been a vocal critic of Tinubu policy implementation.... unlike Fashola who said he would prefer to discuss privately with Tinubu than criticize him publicly... Fayemi do the opposite.... Please the mob, heap little praise on Tinubu....He is neither here or there.....That's IBB style.. Seen with APC in the day and opposition at night... He is an assets and liability to both the ruling party and the opposition...only those who have nothing to lose will throw caution into the wind and embrace him...
