The NSW government is greeting the end of dog racing as a huge opportunity for positive community growth.
'This is a once-in-a-generation transformation that will support growth, deliver thousands of new homes alongside the parks, recreation facilities, and community infrastructure needed for a thriving inner Sydney.'

Meet the Profession
Did you know that Pet Bereavement Counsellors support people before, during, and after the loss of a companion animal?
Many people first discover pet bereavement counselling when they are facing one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner can make, while others seek support after a loss, when grief feels overwhelming, isolating, or difficult to navigate.
Pet Bereavement Counsellors provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where people can talk openly about their experiences, emotions, and concerns.
Support may include:
Anticipatory grief and end-of-life care
Euthanasia decisions
Feelings of guilt, regret, or uncertainty
Coping with traumatic or unexpected loss
Supporting children through pet loss
Concerns about surviving pets
Navigating the "year of firsts"
Finding ways to move forward while honouring the bond shared
Every grief journey is unique.
Pet Bereavement Counsellors are there to listen, support, educate, and walk alongside those experiencing the loss of a beloved companion animal.
Had you heard of Pet Bereavement Counselling before today?

Marvel is a wonderful, easygoing lurcher who has settled beautifully into foster life and is ready to find his forever home. Gentle, affectionate, and quietly curious, he has a talent for making himself right at home — usually in the cosiest spot in the room.

Calling all UK citizens and residents, please help stop this horrifically cruel, selfish and greed driven export of beautiful dogs to an unthinkable fate.
The Greyhound in this picture is Havana Class, this 'champion' dog is now in China being used as a breeding machine. The only exported Greyhounds to make it out of China alive so far have been via the efforts of Candy’s Hound Rescue. We need to completely stop the Greyhound racing community exporting their dogs to countries with zero animal welfare laws. By signing this petition petition.parliament.uk/petit… it will render the dogs unprofitable to the exporters.

Darling Ozzie is such a poser!
This gorgeous lad has an eye condition and he’s expected to become blind within the next 18 months. Despite this, his spirit is strong, and he has so much love to give. Could you give him a patient and understanding 🏡 and the support he needs?

1st race declared void this evening due to TRAP MALFUNCTIONS!! No video available because they don’t want us to see but still the trainers took the risk & carried on racing their dogs. It beggars belief.
